Always searching for those key exercises to offer my clients that would actually make a difference over time to improve functional abilities.

What is Functional Fitness?

Functional Fitness is the Key to Aging Well for Seniors

  • Function is made up of a collection of movements all combined together in patterns.

  • Functional Fitness is an exercise alternative that practices these combination of movement patterns.

  • Instead of doing one exercise at a time, for one muscle at a time, Functional Fitness combines movements all together and practices these patterns.

  • SPRY programs combine fundamental moves ie. squats or lunges with upper body ie. carrying bin or bag with balance ie. stepping over hurdles

  • To complete a functional task our movements combine balance, core, posture, coordination, cognition, ROM, strength

  • SPRY has 9 programs to choose from all based on real life functional activities so you can “Practice Real Life”
